The catalogue of persons contains publicly available information from public registers.
The legal basis for information processing is Article 6 (1) (f) of the General Data Protection Regulation, Article 4.10 of the Law on the Register of Enterprises of the Republic of Latvia, Article 4 of the Law on Information Transparency and the Law on Personal Data Processing. Considering the provisions of the Personal Data Processing Law, personally identifiable information is available only to authorized users. If a person's name and surname have been changed and the processing of this data is permitted by regulatory enactments, the previous name and surname of the person shall also be indicated in the catalog.
The Catalog of Persons contains publicly available information from the following data sources - the Commercial Register, the Register of Enterprises, the Insolvency Register, the Commercial Pledge Register, the Register of Associations and Foundations, the Register of Public Persons and Institutions, the Register of Mass Media, the Register of Revoked Powers of Attorney,as well as information on registered collateral for a person.
